Velma Stephenson

Velma Ruth (Ohm) Stephenson of Brussels passed away peacefully in her sleep at Huronlea Home for the Aged on Monday, March 17th, 2014 in her 92nd year, Velma was the beloved wife of the late George William Stephenson and will be sadly missed by her son Bill and Joan Stephenson and her daughter in law Bonnie and Rick Sallows all of Brussels. Loving grandmother of Kim and Bob Planques of London, Kellie and Reinhardt Pirch of Kitchener, Courtney and Richard Mills of Port Elgin, and great grandmother of Alexander and Natalie Pirch. Also loved by her brother Fred Ohm of Wingham, her sister Rose Doll of Ailsa Craig, and her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Frederick William Ohm and Rose Gorbutt, her son Robert, her brother and sister in law Clarence and Flo Ohm, her sister in law Irene , and her brother in law Charles Doll. Cremation and private family service will take place according to Velma's wishes. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
