Thomas Templeman

After a long and valiant struggle with cancer, Thomas Gerald Templeman of Gorrie passed away on Sunday, March 13th, 2011 at his residence. Born on September 7th, 1941 in Howick Township, Tom was in his 70th year. Tom will be sadly missed by his wife of 49 years Frances (Coulter), his daughter Barbra Gibson and her husband Don of RR#1 Gowanstown, his grandchildren Ryan and Jaron Ireland both of RR#1 Fordwich, Lee and Candice Gibson of Gorrie, Katie Gibson, Tracy Gibson, and Lisa Gibson all of RR#1 Gowanstown, his great grandchildren Carter Gibson and Hudson Ireland, his brothers Bob and Mary of Gorrie, Don and Brenda of Listowel, Ken and Marianne of Collingwood, his sister Susan and Bruce Heinmiller of RR#1 Gowanstown and his father in law Gordon Coulter of Fordwich. Also loved by his many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his daughter Sandra Ireland, his parents Audrene (Zimmerman) and Harry Templeman and his step father Wes Gallaway. Friends will be received by the family from 7 to 9 PM Tuesday from the Gorrie Visitation Centre of the Schimanski Family Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, March 16 at 2:00 PM with Reverend Jeff Hawkins of Gorrie United Church officiating. A Masonic service under the auspices of Forest Lodge No. 162 A.F. & A.M. will be held at the funeral home Tuesday at 9 PM. Spring interment in Gorrie Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Gorrie United Church or to CCAC - North Huron.
