Ruth (Lebold) Kuepfer
Went to be with her Lord on Thursday, January 12th, 2006, at Huronlea Home for the Aged, Brussels. Ruth was born in Wellesley on March 2, 1928, and was the youngest daughter of the late Christian and Elizabeth (Albrecht) Lebold. She lived in Wellesley until 1968 when she moved to the Brussels area. She was a member of Zion Mennonite Fellowship Church, east of Cranbrook.
Beloved wife of the late Aaron R. Kuepfer, who predeceased her in January 2005. Loving mother of Brian and Mary of Gorrie, Joy and David Gingrich of Gowanstown, Judy and John Schwartzentruber, Cora Lynn Kuepfer and Colleen Smith and her friend Neil Schwab all of Brussels. She was predeceased by one son, Gary in 1999. Special grandmother to Christine, Kate, Shannon, Sharlene, Cynthia, Steven, David, Marilyn, Jeremy, Amanda, Jonathan and Joseph. Great-grandmother to Michael, Amber, Tyler, Lanie, Jenna, Sterling, Bailey, Jezika and Mason.
Ruth will be sadly missed by sister of Frieda Lebold of New Hamburg and by sisters and brothers-in-law of Elsie Lebold, Marion Lebold, Dorothy Lebold, Doreen Klein, Barbara McNab, Levi Kuepfer, Lillian Kuepfer, John and Kelsey Kuepfer, Martha Schultz, William and Catherine Kuepfer, Melvin Kuepfer,
Henry and Mary Kuepfer, Sarah Kuepfer, Velma and Danny Gascho,
Dorothy and Andy Gascho and Susie and David Huber.
Predeceased by brothers Amos, Elmer and Katie, Ervin and Edna, Edward, John and Erma, Alvin and Lloyd Lebold, and by sisters Mary Ann and Harvey Leis, Barbara and Elmer Boshart, Clara and Ken Roth, and Laurene Kuepfer, and by sisters and brothers-in-law Mary and Stanley Helmuth, Leslie Nau, Joseph Kuepfer and Betty (Kuepfer) Doerr, Raymond Kuepfer and Bernhardt Schultz.
Visitation from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Saturday at the Schimanski Family Funeral Home, 401 Albert Street, Brussels. The funeral service will be conducted Sunday at 2 PM from Zion Mennonite Fellowship Church, Cranbrook Road, just east of McNaught Line.
Interment to take place in the spring in Brussels Cemetery.
