Ross Knight

Ross Douglas Knight of Wingham, and formerly of Grey Township, passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, August 14th, 2006. Born in Grey Township on September 18th, 1928, Ross was in his 78th year. Beloved husband of 54 years to Betty (Fischer) Knight. Dear father of Warren Knight of Belgrave, Bruce Knight and his wife Jean of London, Nancy Walker and her husband Alan of Morris Township, and Mary Ellen Knight and her husband John Bignell of Coalcliff, New South Wales, Australia. Also loved by his grandchildren Jason, Michael, Chris, Curtis, Garrett, Tim, Rachel and Jill. Predeceased by his parents Russel and Ella Knight. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM Thursday at the Schimanski Family Funeral Home, where the Celebration of Ross�s life will be conducted on Friday, August 18th at 2:00 PM with Reverend Theresa McDonald-Lee officiating. Burial of cremated remains in Cranbrook Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
