Robert Marks

Robert R. Marks, formerly of Belgrave, passed away on Saturday, November 6th, 2010 at Wingham & District Hospital. Born in Morris Township on January 15, 1941, Robert was in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Agnes Riley. Dear father of Tracey and Eric Cook of Blyth, Rolynda and John Bjerg of Belgrave, Bobbi Jo and Mark Hubert of Vanastra, Tara and Craig Anderson of Mississauga, Terry and Jen Marks of Hamilton and Bobby Lynn Marks of Haileybury. Dear brother to Shirley and Bob Hopper of Brussels and Helen and Bev Wallace of Londesborough. Also loved by his grandchildren Amanda, Tasha, Ashley, Mitchell, Hayden, Elisha, Jase, Taylor, Megan, Caleb, Raven, Kyle, Kaydin and Lexy. Predeceased by his grandson Gabriel, his sister Agnes Carter and parents Rollie and Clara Marks. Friends will be received by the family 2 hours prior to the funeral service being conducted on Wednesday, November 10 at 2:00 PM from the Schimanski Family Funeral Home with Pastor Les Cook officiating. Cremation to follow with interment at Brussels Cemetery at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation.
