Merle Ellen (Swan) Campbell, formerly of Brussels, passed away at Wingham & District Hospital, on Thursday, August 31st , 2006. Born in Hamilton on February 19th, 1933, Merle was in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Ben Campbell. Dear mother of Karen Campbell of London, Judy Brown and husband Vic of Osoyoos, BC, Doug Campbell and friend Marion McDonald of Grand Prairie, Alberta, Dale Finch and husband Gord of RR#1 Ethel, and Bonnie Campbell and friend Victor Tremblay of St. Paul, Alberta. Dear sister of Elva Riley of Hamilton. Also loved by her grandchildren Les and Terri Knott, Julie Oakley, Tracy and John Grubb, Ryan and Angie Finch, Jeff and Kim Finch, Tara, Anthony and Frank and great grandchildren Katie, Paxton, Caitlyn, Logan, Mackenzie, Cole and Jaidyn. Predeceased by her son Jeff and brother Doug.. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Wednesday from the Schimanski Family Funeral Home. A family graveside placement of ashes will take place Thursday at Harris St. Cemetery, Oxford County In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of one�s choice
