Mary Bridge

Mary (MacLeod) Bridge of Listowel passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Monday, September 15th, 2014. Born in Carishader, Isle of Lewis, Scotland on November 25th, 1927, Mary was in her 87th year. Mary was the beloved wife of the late Robert H. Bridge (September 30th, 1992). Much loved mother of Theresa Sargent of Guelph, Patricia and Nevel Jones of London, David and Della Bridge of Providence Bay, Judith and Stephen Molyneaux of Thamesville, Robert Bridge of London and Carolyn and Dale McTaggart of London. Loving grandma of Leah, Sheena and Pheona Sargent, David Jones, Matthew and Tyler McTaggart, and Robert and Sarah Bridge. Also loved by her 11 great grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews in Ontario, Scotland, England and Australia. Predeceased by her parents Kenneth MacLeod and Mary Smith, her brothers Findlay, John, Kenneth, and Donald and her sisters Dalina and Annie. Friends will be received by the family on Wednesday, September 17th from 1:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 PM from the Gorrie Visitation Centre of the Schimanski Family Funeral Home with Reverend Jeff Hawkins of Gorrie United Church officiating. Interment in Wroxeter Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
