Margaret Agnes (Thomson) Taylor, formerly of Gorrie, passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Sunday, March 8th , 2009 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Melvin Taylor. Dear mother of Don and Carol Taylor of RR#1 Gorrie, Ruth Anne and Howard Pehlke of RR#1 Monkton, Jim and Lynda Taylor of RR#1 Gorrie and Allan and Dianne Taylor of Fordwich. Also loved by her grandchildren Jeremy and Elicia Taylor, Erin and Josh Miller, Kim and Steve Truax, Janice and Trevor McLeod, Courteney Taylor and Corey Hill, Julia Taylor and Josh Douglas, Meghann and J.J. Ziegler, Leah Taylor, Evan Taylor and her 11 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her brother William Penman and his wife Viola. Friends will be received by the family 2 hours prior to the funeral service being conducted on Tuesday, March 10th at 2 PM from Gorrie United Church, with Reverend George Russell officiating. Cremation with interment in Gorrie Cemetery at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation or to Gorrie United Church.
