Lorna Fay Whitmore

Passed away peacefully at Huronlea Home for Aged on December 18^th in her 90^th year.

Loving wife to the Late Doug Whitmore (2007).

Mom to Ken & Jeanette and Jane & Doug.

Grandma to Sara and Katie Ferguson.

Sister to Jim Buchanan and sister-in-law to Anne Buchanan.

Missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Predeceased by brothers Bill, Roy and John and sister-in-law Dolores.

Lorna always had a smile, especially when she was joking around and spending time with her family. Lorna loved to play with her grandkids whether it was out in the snow or running along beside them when they learned to ride a bike. She always wanted to be outside, she loved to walk; walk with friends by herself or with the dogs. Lorna helped as a member of the Blyth United Church and UCW making pies and attending church for many years. She worked for London Life Insurance and then in the Blyth Print Shop with her family for over 40 years. Lorna was very social and loved to chat with everyone. Her smile and conversation will be missed.

Friends and family are invited to a come and go celebration of Lorna’s Life at Riverside Funeral Home Blyth Chapel on Saturday December 23^rd from 1-3 pm.

In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy donations to the Blyth United Church or The Heart & Stoke Foundation would be appreciated.
