Lawrence Wesley Jacklin of Brussels passed away at Seaforth Community Hospital on Saturday, July 1st, 2006. Born in Grey Township on September 16th, 1915 Lawrence was in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Mildred (Thornton) Jacklin and the late Elaine (Hull) Jacklin. Dear father of Gordon Jacklin and Debbie Cann, Don Jacklin and his wife Joyce, Marlene Rutledge and her husband Brian and Wayne Jacklin all of Brussels. Also loved by his 7 grand and 17 great grandchildren. Predeceased by 2 infant sons, granddaughter Debbie Ann, brother Mel, and sisters Mildred and Viola. Friends will be received by the family from 7 to 9 PM Tuesday and one hour prior to the funeral service being conducted at the Schimanski Family Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 5th at 2:00PM with Sandra Cable officiating. Burial in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Ethel. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Lung Association or Seaforth Community Hospital.
