Kenneth Wilson Telfer, formerly of Brussels, passed away at Braemar Retirement Centre, Wingham, on Sunday, November 29, 2009. Born in St. Mary's on August 3, 1929, Kenneth was in his 81st year. Kenneth was the beloved husband of the late Joyce (Fleet) Telfer. Dear father of David Telfer of Guelph, Linda Albert of Brantford and Barbara Albert and her husband Mike of Brussels. Dear brother of Shirley Johnson of Listowel, Innis Hill of Fergus, Bruce Telfer of Kitchener, Joyce Shock of Atwood, and Marie Bell of Milverton. Also loved by his 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his daughter Grace Bailey and brothers Raymond and Glen and sisters Jean and Norma. Friends will be received by the family 2 hours prior to the funeral service being conducted from the Schimanski Family Funeral Home, Brussels, on Tuesday, December 1st at 2:00 PM officiated by Reverend Cathrine Campbell. Cremation to follow with interment at Brussels Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson Society Canada or the charity of one's choice.
