Grace Browne

Grace Caroline (Cochrane) Browne passed away peacefully at the Fordwich Village Nursing Home on Wednesday, April 16th, 2014 at the age of 97. Grace was the loving wife of the late Peter C. Browne who predeceased her in March of 1991. She will be sadly missed by her children Doug and Brenda Browne of Fordwich, Louise Strong of Listowel, Marie and Wayne White and Jean and John Martin all of Welland, Lorna Knoblauch of Gowanstown, Ted and Loretta Browne of Atwood and Peter and Kim Browne of Tottenham. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her one son Bruce in infancy, her parents Blanche and Clarence Cochrane, 2 sisters, 2 brothers, one great granddaughter, and sons in law Perry Strong and Daryl Knoblauch. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Monday from the Gorrie Visitation Centre of the Schimanski Family Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted from Trinity Anglican Church, Fordwich, on Tuesday, April 22nd at 11:00 am officiated by Reverend Laura Lightfoot. Burial in Gorrie Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Residents Council of the Fordwich Village Nursing Home or The Hospital for Sick Children Foundation.
