Gordon Alfred Shiell

Gordon Shiell of Brussels, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Seaforth Community Hospital on Wednesday, June 8th, 2005. Born in Atwood on February 6, 1932, Gordon was in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Ruth . Dear father of Joanne Pitz and husband Wayne of Waterloo, Barbara Querengesser and husband Jim of Brussels, Ken Shiell and wife Brenda of Kitchener and Ronald Shiell and wife Denise of Woodstock. Dear brother of Ross Shiell of London, Marion Raymond of Burlington, Leslie Shiell of Mount Forest and Donald Shiell of Milverton. Also loved by his 9 grandchildren and a great granddaughter. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Friday at the Schimanski Family Funeral Home, 401 Albert Street, Brussels where the funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, June 11th at 2:00 PM. Interment in Brussels Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Seaforth Community Hospital or to Town and Country Support Services.
