George Cardiff

George Cardiff of Dungannon, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 15th, 2011 at Wingham & District Hospital. Born in Grey Township on July 20th, 1917, George was in his 95th year. Husband of the late Rhea Johnston. Dear father of Kenneth of Stratford, Charles of Waterloo, Audrey and Joe Dewys of St. Paul's, Murray of Waterford, Georgina Reynolds of RR#1 Dungannon and Agnes and Gordon Brindley of RR#3 Lucknow. Also loved by sisters Olive Bell, Viola Riley and Vera Weber 12 grand and 8 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his children George, Tom, Donny, Mary, and granddaughter Angela Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Thursday from the Schimanski Family Funeral Home where the service will be conducted on Friday, November 18th at 1:00 PM. Burial to take place in Brussels Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. John's Anglican Church, Brussels or to the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation.
