Erma Brighton

Erma Adelaine (Fink) Brighton of Brussels, passed away at Huronlea Home for the Aged on Thursday, July 6th, 2006. Born in Preston on May 5th, 1920, Erma was in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Ross Brighton. Dear mother of Lloyd Brighton of Wingham, Ron Brighton and his wife Marg of Ariss, and Keith Brighton and his wife Ruth of Kitchener. Dear sister of Ruby White of Kitchener, Doris Sittler of St. Jacobs, and Shirley Pushelburg and her husband Gord of Kitchener. Also loved by her grandchildren Rick, Terry, Mark, Trina, Patrick, and Brandy and by her great grandchildren Joshua, Dustin, Danielle, and Aaron. Predeceased by her son Roy, granddaughter Cathy, brothers Austin and Walter and daughter-in-law Joan. Friends will be received by the family 2 hours prior to the funeral service being conducted the Schimanski Family Funeral Home on Saturday, July 8th at 2:00 with Sandra Cable officiating. Burial will take place in Brussels Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Brussels Legion No. 218 R.C.L.
