Elizabeth Wheeler

Betty Wheeler of Cambridge, passed away surrounded by her family at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Thursday, August 16th, 2007. Born in Wingham on August 11th, 1935, Betty was in her 73rd year. Betty will be sadly missed by her children Ruth Buffinga and husband Case of Clinton, Carol Rybicki and husband Gary of Cambridge, Myrtle Weber and husband Gord of Cambridge, and Gordon Wheeler and wife Lynda of Waterloo. Dear sister of Verna and Arnold Taylor of Wingham, Jim and Audrey Wheeler of Sarnia, Steven Wheeler of Toronto, Ron and Karen Wheeler of Calgary, Harvey and Kaye Wheeler of Wroxeter, John and Renee Wheeler of Bluevale and Bill and Heather Wheeler of Goderich. Also loved by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Pearl (Johnson), daughter Jo Ann, brother Donnie, and sisters Rhea Cardiff, Roberta Mason, Doris Wilkins and Edith Wintemute. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Sunday from the Gorrie Visitation Centre of the Schimanski Family Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be conducted on Monday, August 20th at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jeff Hawkins officiating. Interment in Wroxeter Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of one's choice
