Doris Armstrong

Doris Georgiana Elizabeth (Newman) Armstrong, a resident of the Fordwich Village Nursing Home and formerly of Brussels, passed away on Tuesday, May 8th, 2012 at Listowel Memorial Hospital. Born in Harriston on July 2nd, 1932, Doris was in her 80th year. Doris was the beloved wife of the late Lloyd Alvin Armstrong and will be sadly missed by her sisters Helen Nuhn of Fergus and Connie and Frank Wolske of Guelph. Dear Aunt of Barb and Walt Mast of Fergus, Rob and Shelley Nuhn of Guelph, Richard and Debbie Nuhn of Kitchener, Dan and Theresa Wolske of Guelph and Scott and Nora Wolske of Harriston. Doris was also loved by her many great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Clarence and Edith (McKinnon) Newman. Friends will be received one hour prior to the funeral being conducted from the Schimanski Family Funeral Home on Friday, May 11th at 2:00 PM officiated by Pastor Heather Tompkins. Interment in Brandon Cemetery, Belgrave. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the charity of one's choice.
