David Simpson

David J. Simpson of Brussels, and formerly of Welland, passed away at Seaforth Community Hospital on Friday, July 6th, 2007. Born in Welland on July 1st, 1936, David was in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Sue (Bateman) Simpson. Dear father of Lori Pearson of Cobourg, Jeffrey Simpson and his wife Kala of Airdrie, Alberta, Bradley Simpson and his wife Colleen of Woodbridge, Amy Pipe and her husband Bob of North Bay, and Wendy Bjur and her husband Mike of Alberta. Dear brother of Jean Dolgos and husband Peter of Welland, Bev Simpson of Welland, and Barry Simpson and wife Diane of Port Colborne. Dear brother-in-law of Alice Simpson and Lucille Simpson both of Welland. Also loved by his 14 grandchildren, his great granddaughter, his many nieces and nephews and his dog Maggie. Predeceased by his brothers Claire and Don and sister Doris. Friends will be received by the family from 7 to 9 PM Sunday at the Schimanski Family Funeral Home, 401 Albert Street, Brussels, where the funeral service will be conducted on Monday, July 9th at 11:00AM.
