David Donald Menzies of RR#1 Listowel, passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Monday, July 27, 2009 after a lengthy illness with Heart and Lung Disease. Born on April 24, 1929 in Grey Township, David was in his 81st year.
David was the husband of Jean (McCreery), the father of David and Donna Menzies of RR#1 Listowel, Wanda and Craig McMullen of Guelph and Brenda and Larry Dyer of Hanover, grandfather of 8 and great grandfather of 11.
Predeceased by his oldest granddaughter Maria and his brother Robert.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 15th, 2009 at 3:30 PM from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 780 Elizabeth Street West, Listowel.
Cremation with interment of cremated remains in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Ethel, at a later date.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
