Clifford Pyke

Clifford Elwood Pyke of Listowel, and formerly of Gorrie, passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Sunday, July 8th, 2007. Born in Howick Township on October 27th, 1913, Cliff was in his 94th year. Beloved husband of Hazel (Stockton) Pyke. Dear father of Jeannette Hall and her husband Claude of Burford, Joyce Beyers of Clifford, Brian Pyke and his wife Linda of Listowel and Glen Pyke and his wife Carol of Wroxeter. Also loved by his 14 grandchildren, his 33 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by his sister Audrene Fitch and son-in-law Donald Beyers. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Wednesday at the Gorrie Visitation Centre of the Schimanski Family Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, July 12th at 2:00PM with Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Burial in Wroxeter Cemetery As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or to Gorrie United Church.
