Bill Strong

William Alexander Warrell Strong of Gorrie passed away Saturday, April 8th, 2006 at Wingham & District Hospital. Born in Howick Township on July 15th, 1934 Bill was in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Jean (Lohr) Strong Dear father of Laurie Schneider and her husband Leonard of Gorrie, Wayne Strong and his wife Vickey of London and Suzanne Gnay and her husband Grant of Goderich. Loving grandfather to Cara, Lucas, Andrew, Elizabeth, Johnathon, Joseph, Kaitlin, and Ethan. Dear brother of Helen Currie and her husband Jack of Wingham, Bob Strong and his wife Marie of Gorrie, Alex Strong and his wife Gwen of Wingham and Joanne Allan and her husband Bob of Kitchener. Dear brother-in-law to Louise Strong of Listowel. Predeceased by his brother Perry. Friends wwill be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Sunday from the Gorrie Visitation Centre of the Schimanski Family Funeral Home. The funeral will be conducted from Trinity Lutheran Church, Kurtzville on Monday, April 10th at 2:00 PM with Pastor Kurt Reinhardt officiating. Burial in Trinty Lutheran Church Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
