Bill was an easygoing guy, he adored his family and was extremely proud of who they had become. Bill loved to use his hands – whether it was tending bar at the hotel in Brussels, playing pool or checkers, to fixing and towing cars. He liked his ‘big boy toys’ and put them to use on the family farm alongside Carol creating "Somewhere" where family and friends would gather at yearly pond parties. Bill was always the first to welcome any family and friends with a smile and offer a drink.
He was renowned for his one-liners and his ability to remain calm in any situation. He was well- loved by the community, and always had a helping hand for anyone in need.
Family and friends will be received at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 218 in Brussels for visitation on December 2nd from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
A Celebration of Bill’s Life and Sharing of Memories will take place on Saturday December 3rd at 12pm (noon) with 1- hour visitation prior at Royal Canadian Legion Branch #218 in Brussels.
In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy donations to the Oncology Department at Wingham & District Hospital or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
