Beverley Doreen Walker

Beverley Doreen Walker nee Katzin, born 1941, Calgary Alberta
After a short bout with pancreatic cancer, passed peacefully at Huron Hospice, October 19th, 2023 

Bev, downhill ski instructor, rodeo rider, medical lab tech, print maker, silk artist, avid gardener, gourmet chef, arts advocate, extraordinary volunteer, world traveler and loving wife and mother led an adventurous and productive life. 

She had an undeniably feisty spirit, huge heart, and a kindness that was felt by every person she encountered.

Survived by loving family, husband Ronald, daughters Shawna and Tammy, granddaughters Myelle and Iyla, son in law Damon.

A special thank you to all the medical professionals whose devotion, compassionate and empathetic care was gratefully appreciated during  a difficult and heart wrenching time. Thank you Huron Hospice, CPLTC and our team from Care Partners.

A celebration of her extraordinary life will occur in the coming spring.
