Betty Finch

Betty Finch of Brussels passed away suddenly at her residence on Wednesday, April 9th, 2014. Born in Hamilton, Ontario on June 3rd, 1925, Betty was in her 89th year. Betty was the beloved wife of the late Tom Finch (April 26th, 1997) and will be sadly missed by her children Marg Henderson of Bayfield, Gord and Dale Finch of RR#1 Ethel, Linda and Jim McLellan of Exeter and Bev and Jim Hodgins of Ailsa Craig. Loving grandmother of Willy, Cory, Rob, Tracy, Ryan, Jeff, Lisa, Bevie, Jamie, and Tommy, her 23 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Also loved by her sisters Yvonne Misener of Hamilton and Marg and Paul Town of Burlington, her sisters in law Reta Levrere and Mary Finch and brothers in law Jack Finch and Harry Finch. Predeceased by her granddaughter Catherine and sisters Connie Couper and Freda Beazer. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Sunday from the Schimanski Family Funeral Home. The complete funeral service will be conducted from St. John's Anglican Church, Brussels, on Monday, April 14th at 1:00 PM officiated by Reverend Perry Chuipka. Burial to take place in Brussels Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to St. John's Anglican Church Building Fund or the Make A Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
