Beryl Smith

Beryl Delores (Dadswell) Smith of Brussels passed away peacefully at Huronlea Home for the Aged on Sunday, April 1, 2012. Born in Harriston on September 16th, 1931, Beryl was in her 81st year. Beryl was the beloved wife of the late Lloyd Smith (May 23, 2009) and will be sadly missed by her children Sharon and Dave Rapson of Brussels, Kim and Bruce Gooding of Listowel, Wayne Smith of St. Jacob's and Joan Warner of Brussels. Dear grandmother of Becky and Andrew Courtney, Allison and David Lisle, Cody, Jesse and Eden Rapson, Andrew and Reid Gooding, Tommy Warner and great grandmother of Sivan and Yonah Courtney. Also loved by her many family and friends. Predeceased by her parents William and Alma (Cunningham) Dadswell, five brothers and two sisters. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Tuesday from the Schimanski Family Funeral Home, Brussels where the funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, April 4 at 11:00 AM. Cremation to follow with interment in Brussels Cemetery at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Resident's Council of Huronlea Home for the Aged.
