Barbara Ward

Suddenly at her residence Barbara Ann (Vallance) Ward of RR#1 Ethel passed away on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2006. Born in Palmerston on November 22nd, 1947, Barbara was in her 59th year. Beloved wife of Larry Ward. Dear mother of Anthony Ward and wife Tricia of Ethel and Sheri Machan and husband Trevor of Molesworth. Loving grandmother to Ashton, Brooklyn, Lucas, Mackenzie and Shelby. Dear sister of Sandy & Gail Vallance of Moorefield, Bill & Laurel Vallance of Woodstock, Wendy & Ray Walsh of Harriston, Darlene & Mike Roeder of Listowel, Stewart Vallance of Harriston, Darwin Vallance of Listowel, Donna & Gary Hopper of Atwood, Judy & Mike Harris and Kim & Ann Vallance all of Harriston. Also loved by her parents-in-law Lawson & Muriel Ward of Listowel and her many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by her sister Heather Cooper. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Friday at the Schimanski Family Funeral Home where the funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, August 5th, 2006 with Sandra Cable officiating. Burial in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Ethel. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Arthritis Society.
