Allan Hyndman

Allan W. Hyndman, formerly of Gorrie, passed away on Wednesday, June 29th, 2011at McVean Lodge, Hanover. Born in Howick Township on August 13th, 1921, Allan was in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Mary (Thomson) Hyndman who passed away on January 9th, 2009. Dear father of Clarke Hyndman of Toronto and Karen MacTavish and her husband Brian of Hanover. Also loved by his grandchildren Christopher and his wife Lee, Julie and her fiancé Dave Cronin, Michael, Cameron and Kathryn, his great granddaughter Nayana and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son and grandson in infancy, his brother Harold, sister Greta Bennett and niece Kathy Bulmer. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Sunday at the Gorrie Visitation Centre of the Schimanski Family Funeral Home where the funeral service will be conducted on Monday, July 4th at 2 PM with Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Interment at Gorrie Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Gorrie United Church.
