Agnes Adeline (Gibson) Burke of Wroxeter, passed away at Braemar Retirement Centre, Wingham, on June 23, 2008. Born in Wroxeter on July 19, 1909, Agnes was in her 99th year.
Agnes was predeceased by her beloved husband Thomas Burke, her parents John and Rachel (Willis) Gibson, her sisters Mary, Isabel and Margaret, her brothers Sheriff, Robert, John, Anderson, Arthur and William, and is survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the funeral service being conducted from the Gorrie Visitation Centre of the Schimanski Family Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 25 at 2:00 PM with Reverend Jeff Hawkins of Wroxeter United Church officiating.
Cremation to follow with interment in Wroxeter Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wroxeter United Church or the charity of one's choice.
